We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Associate to join our Production team. This role serves as the final checkpoint in the production process, ensuring that all garments meet the company's quality standards before reaching customers or stockists. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, excellent quality assessment skills, and experience within a fashion or manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality inspections on garments and finished products at various stages of production.
- Identify and report defects related to stitching, finishing, fabric quality, dye consistency, sizing, trims, and overall workmanship.
- Monitor dyed fabrics to ensure compliance with approved color and pattern standards.
- Maintain accurate quality control records and prepare inspection reports.
- Communicate quality issues to the production team and support corrective actions.
- Perform final quality checks to ensure garments are properly pressed, labeled, packaged, and ready for delivery.
- Identify recurring quality concerns and recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in the production department of a fashion, apparel, or manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, dyeing processes, and finishing techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify quality defects.
- Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
