Our client, A fine dining restaurant is seeking an experienced and service-driven Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a passion for delivering world-class dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with service standards, food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
- Monitor staff scheduling, attendance, and overall performance.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and ambiance throughout the restaurant.
- Assist with inventory management, stock control, and ordering of supplies.
- Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist in training new employees and maintaining standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Food & Beverage operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role within a fine dining or luxury hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards and restaurant operations.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and restaurant POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
